Website: News Room for Quantel
Brief
Quantel required a website interface through which to show how quickly they can take video from a camera and output it as a high quality article on a news website front page.
Solution
I developed a flexible XML-based site architecture that allows Quantel to define settings through a configuration screen. Other XML configures the video and news output of the site which, if run on a machine connected to the Internet, displays live content from news agencies.
Result
The design of the site is simple and designed to prominently display video, whilst maintaining the look and feel of a news website. The system is fully expandable to the server it is installed on - taking advantage of advanced software such as ffmpeg if available.
